My name is Daniel Martinez. I was born and raised in San Jose, California. I have helped my grandfather grow a lemon tree. It was the first tree i have ever grown and taken care of, i still care for it to this day. I remember picking the first lemon from the tree and squeezing it in my mouth, it was the most sour taste of victory. My grandparents learned about gardening for food purposes and spices.
